How Keys works
One shared list for selling, buying and moving house. You both see the same plan, and every change shows up for the other person.
Getting started
- Log in with your name and the shared password. You stay logged in for 30 days.
- Set your moving day: tap your name (the person icon) at the top, then Moving day. A guess is fine; it starts the countdown.
- Put it on your phone. iPhone: Share, then Add to Home Screen. Android: the ⋮ menu, then Add to Home screen (or Install app). It then opens full screen, like an app. On iPhone, the home-screen Keys keeps its own login, so log in once more the first time you open it from there.
- Share out the work: tap a task and choose who's doing it. Add a target date to anything with a deadline.
As you go
- Tick the box when a task is done. Ticked by mistake? Tap Undo.
- Tap a task to change it, add notes or leave a comment for the other person.
- Add (top right) puts in a task the list doesn't have.
- Next up lists anything with a date, in progress or blocked.
- Finished tasks fold away under Show done in each stage.
- Search and Filter find tasks by word, status or person.
Four ways to look
- List: the stages, one at a time. The current one opens first.
- Table: everything in one table. Tap a heading to sort.
- Map: the whole move at a glance. Tap a stage to see its tasks.
- Who does what: your sale and your purchase as one chain, week by week. Tap a step for details.
Doing it together
- The other person's changes appear within 20 seconds.
- History (tap your name) shows every change, who made it and when.
- If you both change the same task at once, Keys loads the latest and asks you to save again, so nothing is lost.
- Red marks the big moments and anything overdue or blocked.
